Sifu Chris has been studying Lai Tung Pai for over 15 years. He is one the first students to obtain the black sash ranking in Lai Tong Pai Kung Fu in the US. Sifu Chris was honored with the US Sifu ranking and 6th Generation Disciple out of the Sil Lum Temple in 2002 at the traditional tea ceremony given by Sifu Li.

Sifu Chris is also a founding father of CACMA and has promoted and sponsored many tournaments on their behalf.

Sifu Chris, in 2004, went to Hong Kong where he received the rank of International Instructor from Si Gung Kong Hoi and is also the 5th Generation Sil Lum Temple Disciple.
